AI ARCHIVE / PERSONAL HISTORY

What do you do with years of ChatGPT conversations?

Saving the archive is useful. But an archive is not the same thing as a story you will actually want to read again.

Your old chats contain more than answers.

Trips you planned. Projects you almost quit. Purchases you obsessed over. Small jokes. Bad ideas. Good ideas. The strange details that made sense only at the time. Years later, those fragments can feel less like a search history and more like a rough diary.

Three useful things you can do with the archive

1. Search it

Keep the raw conversations available so you can return to a specific decision, link, plan, or idea.

2. Organize it

Group conversations by project or topic instead of depending on the original chat sidebar forever.

3. Turn it into a story

A story is different from a summary. It has scenes, callbacks, contradictions, changes of mind, and the details that make the source feel like your life rather than a report.

Archive first. Story second.

Project Vault is built for keeping ChatGPT conversations organized. Tanuki Chronicle is built for finding the story inside a large archive. Chronicle also works on its own with supported ChatGPT/OpenAI archive ZIPs.

Privacy boundary

The Chronicle reader does not automatically send your selected archive to Silent Coast Asset. It prepares a RUN ZIP locally. You then choose to upload that RUN ZIP to your own ChatGPT for generation. That is why we do not describe the product as fully local AI.
